The high-pressure system from China extends to the Northeast of Thailand and the South China Sea with the southerly and southeasterly winds bring the moisture from the South China Sea and the Gulf to the upper country where hot weather occure. Thundershowers with gusty winds, hails, and isolated heavy rain are likely in the country. The easterly wind prevailing over the Gulf and the South is strengthening with heavy rain in the South. The wind and wave in the Gulf are likely about 1 meter high and above 2 meters high in thundershower.

ประเทศไทยตอนบนมีฝนฟ้าคะนอง กับมีลมกระโชกแรง ลูกเห็บตก และฝนตกหนักบางแห่ง เนื่องจากบริเวณความกดอากาศสูงหรือมวลอากาศเย็นจากประเทศจีนแผ่ปกคลุมภาคตะวันออกเฉียงเหนือ และทะเลจีนใต้ ประกอบกับมีลมใต้และลมตะวันออกเฉียงใต้พัดนำความชื้นจากอ่าวไทย และทะเลจีนใต้เข้ามาปกคลุมบริเวณประเทศไทยตอนบน ในขณะที่บริเวณดังกล่าวมีอากาศร้อน สำหรับลมฝ่ายตะวันออกที่พัดปกคลุมอ่าวไทย และภาคใต้มีกำลังแรงขึ้น ทำให้ภาคใต้มีฝนตกหนักบางแห่ง ส่วนบริเวณอ่าวไทยมีคลื่นสูงประมาณ 1 เมตร บริเวณที่มีฝนฟ้าคะนองคลื่นสูงมากกว่า 2 เมตร

ขอให้ประชาชนในภาคใต้ระวังอันตรายจากฝนตกหนัก และฝนที่ตกสะสมซึ่งอาจทำให้เกิดน้ำท่วมฉับพลันและน้ำป่าไหลหลาก โดยเฉพาะพื้นที่ลาดเชิงเขาใกล้ทางน้ำไหลผ่านและพื้นที่ลุ่ม
