Multiple rounds of locally heavy rainfall are expected through early Monday morning. The first round is most likely between midnight and mid-morning Sunday, when 2 to 3 inches with locally 4 or more inches of rain may fall. The second round is expected Sunday night into early Monday morning, when an additional 1 to 3 inches with locally 4 inches or more possible. * WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues to be possible. * WHERE...A portion of Deep South Texas, including the following counties, Brooks, Jim Hogg and Zapata. * WHEN...Through Monday morning. * IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations. Creeks and streams may rise out of their banks. Flooding may occur in poor drainage and urban areas.
