The Chizhou Meteorological Observatory issued a yellow warning signal for severe convection at 05:16 on August 9, 2026. Most towns and streets in Chizhou city, concentrated areas, economic development zones, Pingtian Lake Scenic Area, as well as Juanqiao Town and Mayan Street in Guichi District, may experience short-term heavy rainfall, thunderstorms, strong winds, and other severe convective weather within 6 hours. Please take precautions.
