An intensifying tropical cyclone is expected to bring heavy rain to the eastern end of the state over the next few days. The exact track of the dangerous tropical cyclone remains somewhat uncertain, but significant heavy rain is likely over windward and southeast Big Island. * WHAT...Flash flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues to be possible. * WHERE...Big Island, Maui, Lanai, Molokai, and Kahoolawe. * WHEN...From noon HST today through Saturday afternoon. * IMPACTS...Significant flooding may occur due to the overflow of streams and drainages.
