The monsoon trough lies across the upper North and upper Laos while the rather strong southwest monsoon prevails over the Andaman Sea, Thailand and the Gulf. Isolated heavy rains are forecast in the North, the Northeast, the Central and the East regions. The rather strong winds force the waves in the upper Andaman Sea and the upper Gulf up to be 2–3 meters high and above 3 meters high in thundershowers. In addition, typhoon “DOLPHIN” over the East China Sea is forecast to make landfall over Zhejiang, China during 9–10 Aug 2026. This storm will not move into Thailand. Travelers should check the weather forecast for the region they are going to be visiting.

ภาคเหนือ ภาคตะวันออกเฉียงเหนือ ภาคกลาง และภาคตะวันออกยังคงมีฝนตกหนักบางแห่ง เนื่องจากร่องมรสุมพาดผ่านภาคเหนือตอนบน และประเทศลาวตอนบน ประกอบกับมรสุมตะวันตกเฉียงใต้ที่พัดปกคลุมทะเลอันดามัน ประเทศไทย และอ่าวไทยมีกำลังค่อนข้างแรง สำหรับคลื่นลมบริเวณทะเลอันดามันตอนบนและอ่าวไทยตอนบนมีกำลังค่อนข้างแรง โดยมีคลื่นสูง 2-3 เมตร บริเวณที่มีฝนฟ้าคะนองมีคลื่นสูงมากกว่า 3 เมตร อนึ่ง พายุไต้ฝุ่น “ดอลฟิน” บริเวณทะเลจีนตะวันออก คาดว่าจะเคลื่อนขึ้นฝั่งบริเวณมณฑลเจ้อเจียง ประเทศจีนในช่วงวันที่ 9-10 ส.ค. 69 โดยพายุนี้ไม่เคลื่อนเข้าสู่ประเทศไทย ขอให้ผู้ที่จะเดินทางไปบริเวณดังกล่าวตรวจสอบสภาพอากาศก่อนออกเดินทางไว้ด้วย
