    ад: 02/04/2026, 19:34
    каб: 04/04/2026, 23:59

Credit Valley Conservation has issued a Flood Outlook Statement for the areas of the Credit River Watershed in Peel and Halton Regions as well as Wellington and Dufferin Counties. Credit Valley Conservation (CVC) is advising that the Surface Water MonitoringCentre, Ministry of Natural Resources is forecasting that additional low-pressuresystems are expected to bring rain to the Credit River Watershed over the next five(5) days. Today (Thursday), it is forecasted that the watershed will receive 5-15 mmof rain with convective activity potentially bringing an additional 5-10 mm. On Friday(tomorrow), up to 5 mm of rain is forecasted. On Saturday, another low-pressuresystem is expected to bring 15-20 mm of rain with convective activity potentiallycontributing additional rainfall. Flooding of the Credit River and its major tributaries is not expected. Note, however, that while water levels are receding across the watershed following rain from earlierin the week, water levels are still elevated in some parts of the watershed.Consequently, minor flooding may occur in the headwaters and low-lying areas as aresult of the forecasted rain. Local streams and rivers could become dangerous, especially in the vicinity of culverts, bridges, and dams. Children should be warned tostay away from all watercourses. CVC will continue to closely monitor weather, ice conditions, and water levels in thewatershed. The Watershed Conditions Statement for Flood Outlook will be in effectthrough Saturday, April 4, 2026, or until further notice.
