There is also a risk of a tornado. Thunderstorms have developed over the Edson region and will move to the east this evening. Some of these thunderstorms will be severe. ### Large hail can cause significant damage and injury. Severe thunderstorm watches are issued when conditions are favourable for the development of thunderstorms capable of producing damaging hail, wind or rain.
