Temperatures: falling from high single digits to well below zero over a period of about 3 hours.

Freezing rain continues.
Location: Upper Lake Melville.
Time span: Continuing until near noon.
Remarks: Cold air has become trapped in the Upper Lake Melville area which has caused freezing rain to linger longer than expected. Temperatures should rise above freezing in the next 2 to 3 hours as strong southerly winds flush out the cold air.
