    * WHAT...Blizzard conditions. Additional snow accumulations between 3 and 6 inches. Winds gusting as high as 55 mph, strongest near Lake Superior. * WHERE...Alger, Luce, and Northern Schoolcraft Counties. * WHEN...Until 8 AM EDT Tuesday. * IMPACTS...Whiteout conditions are expected and will make travel treacherous and potentially life-threatening. The strong winds may down power lines and could cause sporadic power outages.

    • Travel should be restricted to emergencies only. If you must travel, have a winter survival kit with you. If you get stranded, stay with your vehicle. Persons should consider delaying all travel. Motorists should use extreme caution if travel is absolutely necessary.

Widespread blowing snow will significantly reduce visibility. Gusty winds could bring down tree branches and could cause sporadic power outages.
