Gusty southeast winds will persist across the Anchorage Hillside and Palmer through tonight. Northerly winds currently across the Anchorage Bowl will eventually turn southeasterly late this afternoon into the early evening hours. Southeast winds will begin to diminish late tonight across the Anchorage Hillside and Palmer. However, southeast winds will continue through Turnagain Arm and bend into the Anchorage Bowl through Saturday, but not to them same strength as anticipated for later this afternoon into tonight. Expected wind gusts this afternoon through tonight: Palmer: 40 to 55 mph Anchorage Hillside: 45 to 65 mph Anchorage Bowl: 25 to 40 mph
