The Chongqing Forest and Grassland Fire Prevention and Extinguishing Command, Chongqing Emergency Management Bureau, Chongqing Forestry Bureau, and Chongqing Meteorological Bureau jointly upgraded and issued the "Forest and Grassland Fire Red Warning Signal" at 14:30 on September 7, 2026. Twenty districts and counties in our city, including Liangjiang New District, Wanzhou District, Fuling District, Shapingba District, Nan an District, Beibei District, Banan District, Changshou District, Jiangjin District, Hechuan District, Nanchuan District, Bishan District, Tongliang District, Wulong District, Fengdu County, Yunyang County, Fengjie County, Wushan County, Wuxi County, and Chongqing High tech Zone, have experienced high or extremely high forest and grassland fire risk levels for several consecutive days. It is expected that the above-mentioned districts and counties will continue to have high or extremely high forest and grassland fire risk levels from September 7th to 10th, and the risk of forest and grassland fires is extremely high.
