Creeks and streams may rise out of their banks. Low-water crossings may be flooded. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - The combination of a moist tropical airmass, a stalling front, and a broad area of low pressure over eastern Mexico will result in heavy rain. Isolated pockets with rain totals of 6-8 inches or more are possible with rain rates that could exceed 2-4 inches per hour at times. Between 2 and 3 inches of rain have fallen. The expected rainfall rate is 1 to 2 inches in 1 hour. Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 2 inches are possible in the warned area. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly. HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms. SOURCE...Radar and automated gauges.
