Creeks and streams may rise out of their banks. Low-water crossings may be flooded. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - The combination of a moist tropical airmass, a stalling front, and a broad area of low pressure over eastern Mexico will result in heavy rain. Isolated pockets with rain totals of 6-8 inches or more are possible with rain rates that could exceed 2-4 inches per hour at times. Numerous outbuildings and barns are surrounded, and flow approaches apartment buildings below Farm to Market 763. Kings Crossing Golf Course is at least 1/2 flooded. Water is within 3 feet of some homes. Water flows across Oso Parkway Road at 2 low areas in the extreme south portion of the Lakes Subdivision. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 9:15 AM CDT Tuesday the stage was 17.6 feet. - Bankfull stage is 11.0 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage late this morning to a crest of 25.2 feet just after midnight tonight at major flood stage. Low-water crossings are inundated with water and may not be passable. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 1006 AM CDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the warned area.
