    Major winter storm comes to an end tonight. What: Total snowfall accumulations of 30 to 50 cm. Near zero visibility in heavy snow and blowing snow. Northerly wind gusts of 70 to 80 km/h. When: Continuing this evening and ending overnight. Additional information: Additional snowfall amounts of 5 to 10 cm are expected before snow slowly tapers off tonight. Periods of light snow and local blowing snow may continue into Tuesday morning or early afternoon. ### Travel will likely be extremely hazardous and some routes will likely be impassable. Road closures are possible. Prolonged, widespread utility outages are likely. Roofs are at an increased risk of collapse under the weight of snow.
