Winter Weather Advisory issued March 14 at 11:58PM CDT until March 15 at 7:00PM CDT by NWS Hastings NE

    fra: 15.03.2026, 07:00
    til: 15.03.2026, 13:00

    * WHAT...Snow and strong winds expected. Total snow accumulations up to one inch possible. Sustained northwest winds of 30 to 45 MPH, with gusts as high as 65 mph. * WHERE...Portions of central, east central, and south central Nebraska. * WHEN...From 7 AM to 7 PM CDT Sunday. * IMPACTS...Roads, and especially bridges and overpasses, will likely become slick and hazardous. Plan on slippery road conditions. Very strong winds combined with any falling snow will bring the potential for reductions in visibility below one mile at times. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Most locations are expected to receive snowfall amounts between one half of an inch up to one inch. There is a chance a few spots along the far northern fringes of the area could exceed one inch. Though snow accumulations are light, the strong northwest winds may create hazardous travel conditions, potentially over short distances. Allow for plenty of time if you must travel.
