    * WHAT...Flooding caused by rain and snowmelt is expected. * WHERE...Portions of Idaho, including the following counties, Latah, Lewis and Nez Perce and Southeast Washington, including the following counties, Asotin, Garfield and Whitman. * WHEN...Until 145 PM PDT Saturday. * IMPACTS...Flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations is imminent or occurring. Expect many areas of slow moving or standing water. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 1215 AM PDT, rain and snowmelt is occurring, and will cause flooding. Between 0.5 and 0.75 inches of rain have fallen. - Additional rainfall amounts of 0.25 to 0.75 inches are possible in the warned area through this afternoon. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... Lewiston, Pullman, Moscow, Clarkston, Lapwai, Colfax, Pomeroy, Genesee, Troy, Potlatch, Juliaetta, Deary, Craigmont, Nezperce, Culdesac, Winchester, Kendrick, Bovill, West Clarkston-Highland and Clarkston Heights-Vineland. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood

For the Palouse River...including Pullman...Moderate flooding is forecast. * WHAT...Moderate flooding is occurring and moderate flooding is forecast. * WHERE...South Fork Palouse River at Pullman. * WHEN...Until late this afternoon. * IMPACTS...At 7.0 feet, Minor flooding in the residential and business areas along the river in and around Pullman can be expected. Ponding of water on portions of Grand Ave near Missouri Flat Creek. Flooding in portions of Spring Street Skate Park, the City Palyfields, and the Pullman RV Park. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 2:15 AM PDT Saturday the stage was 8.1 feet. - Bankfull stage is 5.5 feet. - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours ending at 2:15 AM PDT Saturday was 8.1 feet. - Forecast...The river will oscillate above flood stage with a maximum value of 8.2 feet early this morning.
