At 340 pm CDT, a snow band was located south of the Kansas City metro, moving through Miami and Linn counties in Kansas into Cass and Bates counties in Missouri. Brief reductions in visibility to a half mile or less are expected with this snow band. The heaviest snow should last about 15 to 30 minutes and will likely cause roads to become wet. However, a slick spot or two, particularly on bridges and overpasses, cannot be ruled out.
