บริเวณภาคเหนือ ภาคตะวันออกเฉียงเหนือ ภาคตะวันออก และภาคกลาง จะมีพายุฤดูร้อนเกิดขึ้น โดยมีลักษณะของพายุฝนฟ้าคะนอง ลมกระโชกแรง และลูกเห็บตกบางแห่ง รวมถึงอาจมีฟ้าผ่าเกิดขึ้นได้ เนื่องจากบริเวณความกดอากาศสูงหรือมวลอากาศเย็นจากประเทศจีนอีกระลอกหนึ่งได้แผ่ลงมาปกคลุมภาคตะวันออกเฉียงเหนือ และทะเลจีนใต้แล้ว ในขณะที่ประเทศไทยตอนบนมีอากาศร้อนถึงร้อนจัด
