River forecasts are based on observed precipitation and forecast precipitation for the next 24 hours. * WHAT...Minor flooding is forecast. * WHERE...Mississippi River near Herculaneum. * WHEN...Until Sunday evening. * IMPACTS...At 28.3 feet, Near this height, the walking trail (extension of Station Road) at Bates Memorial Park begins flooding. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 8:30 PM CDT Wednesday the stage was 25.7 feet and rising. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage just after midnight tonight to a crest of 27.6 feet early Friday morning. It will then fall below flood stage Saturday afternoon. - Flood stage is 26.0 feet.
