River or stream flows are elevated. Flooding is occurring on area rivers that are popular for waterfall viewing. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 655 PM CDT Tuesday, river gauges continue to suggest that there are areas of high water and localized minor flooding from Monday's rainfall. No additional rainfall is expected. One to two inches of rain that has already fallen and snowmelt runoff in Cook County will keep river levels elevated today. The Baptism River and Beaver River in Lake County are also experiencing high flows today due to runoff from the one to two inches of rainfall yesterday and last night. - Some locations that will experience flooding include...
