Winter storm early this week What: - 15 to 20 centimetres of snow expected - near-zero visibilities in heavy snow and blowing snow When: Monday morning to Tuesday afternoon Additional information: Snow will be accompanied by northerly winds up to 70 km/h, creating blowing snow, especially for coastal areas of James Bay. Winds will gradually strengthen until Tuesday morning. Blowing snow will cause reduced visibilities. Behind the storm, overnight Tuesday and Wednesday morning, a cold air mass will cause wind chill values between -38 and -45. ### Visibility will likely be suddenly reduced to near zero at times.
