    * WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues to be possible. * WHERE...Portions of central, east central, and south central Kansas, including the following counties, in central Kansas, Marion. In east central Kansas, Chase. In south central Kansas, Butler, Cowley, Harvey, Sedgwick and Sumner. * WHEN...Until 1 PM CDT this afternoon. * IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - Scattered showers and storms will continue this morning and will come to an end by the late morning hours. Some additional flooding will still be possible.

Walnut River at Winfield affecting Cowley and Butler Counties. * WHAT...Minor flooding is forecast. * WHERE...Walnut River at Arkansas City. * WHEN...Until early Tuesday afternoon. * IMPACTS...At 20.0 feet, Considerable flooding of farmland is expected. Widespread flooding of the park just upstream of the gage site is anticipated. East Chestnut Avenue east of By-pass is closed due to water over roadway. Greens Farm Road floods between Highway 166 north to Dunbar Hill. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 8:15 AM CDT Sunday the stage was 12.5 feet and rising. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage late this morning to a crest of 21.2 feet this afternoon. It will then fall below flood stage early Tuesday morning. - Flood stage is 18.0 feet.

It will then fall below flood stage Wednesday morning. - Flood stage is 11.0 feet.
