Locations: much of central to eastern Nova Scotia along the Atlantic coast.

Total snowfall: 10 to 20 cm, possibly more.

Time span: early Monday morning until Tuesday morning.

Remarks: Snow is expected to spread west to east beginning near midnight Monday reaching eastern Cape Breton by mid morning Monday. The snow is expected to be wet and heavy.

There is some uncertainty as to where the heaviest snowfall will occur as areas along the Atlantic coast could see snow mix with ice pellets Monday evening.
