At 21:32 on May 5, 2026, the Hotan Regional Meteorological Observatory issued a yellow warning signal for sandstorms: it is expected that there will be short-term sandstorms or sandstorms in most parts of Hotan from tonight to the evening of the 6th, with minimum visibility dropping below 1000 meters and gusts of 6-7 levels. Gusts in the northern desert areas and wind vents will reach 8-9 levels. Please take precautions.
