A rough to very rough swell is expected to affect the south-western, southern and eastern coastal areas of Madagascar. Significant wave heights are forecast to range between 3.0 and 3.5 metres, with waves reaching 4 to 5 metres along the south-western, southern and south-eastern coasts. These conditions may pose a threat to maritime activities and coastal communities.
