    At 15:27 on May 2, 2026, the Natural Resources Bureau, County Emergency Management Bureau, and County Meteorological Bureau of Zixi County issued a yellow warning for geological disaster meteorological risks: According to the meteorological forecast, it is expected that there will be a heavy rainfall process in our county from the evening of May 2 to the day of May 3, with a cumulative rainfall of 30 to 50 millimeters, and locally more than 70 millimeters. When thunderstorms come, there will be short-term heavy rainfall, thunderstorm winds, hail and other strong convective weather in some areas. Based on the previous rainfall situation and rainfall forecast, combined with geological environmental conditions and analysis of the occurrence patterns of geological disasters over the years, it is expected that from 20:00 on May 2nd to 20:00 on May 3rd, the high-risk areas of geological disasters in various towns and villages in our county will have a high risk of small-scale collapses, landslides, and mudslides.
