Blizzard conditions with poor visibility in snow and blowing snow are expected. A low pressure system approaching the Kivalliq coast from the east will bring strong northeasterly winds on Sunday along with 5 to 10 cm of snow. The combination of 70 km/h wind gusts and falling snow will give near-zero visibilities in falling and blowing snow. Blizzard conditions will ease Monday morning as winds diminish. ### Travel will be hazardous due to near-zero visibility. Blizzard warnings are issued when near-zero visibility in blowing snow is expected. Please continue to monitor alerts and forecasts issued by Environment Canada.
