* WHAT...Minor flooding is forecast.
* WHERE...Snoqualmie River near Snoqualmie Falls.
* WHEN...Until tomorrow morning.
* IMPACTS...At 20,000.0 cfs, the Snoqualmie River will cause widespread flooding of pasture lands and roads along the river from the town of Snoqualmie downstream through Fall City. Roads that may become flooded include Fall City-Carnation...Tolt Hill... and Novelty Flats Roads. This river level on the Snoqualmie corresponds roughly to a phase 3 flood in the King County flood system.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 11:00 AM PDT Wednesday the flow was 18,700.0 cfs. - Flood flow is 20,000.0 cfs. - Forecast...The river is expected to reach flood stage early this afternoon. The river will crest near 23,500 cfs this evening. The river is expected to recede below flood stage Thursday, but remain elevated near flood stage through Friday, before further receding over the weekend. - Flood History...This crest compares to a previous crest of 23,100.0 cfs on 12/03/2007. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood

* WHAT...High avalanche danger is expected in the West Central zone Tuesday night and Wednesday.
* WHERE...The West Central Zone is along the West Slopes of the Cascades from SR20 to north of I-90. It includes the Mountain Loop Highway and the mountains near and south of Hwy 2 along the West Slopes of the Cascades. Dangerous avalanche conditions are expected in neighboring zones.
* WHEN...In effect from Tue 18:30 PDT to Wed 18:30 PDT.
* IMPACTS...Large to very large natural wet snow avalanches are expected. Avalanches that release from higher elevations could run long distances to lower elevations or into terrain that is usually considered safe.
* PRECAUTIONARY / PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...Very dangerous avalanche conditions are expected. Travel in backcountry terrain is not recommended. Put a large buffer between you and terrain where avalanches can start, run, and stop.
