At 17:45 on March 18, 2026, Sanmen County Meteorological Observatory issued a yellow warning signal for strong winds: Due to the influence of cold air, it is expected that there will be 7-9 level northerly winds in the coastal sea and high mountain areas of our county from tonight to tomorrow. Coastal towns (streets) such as Puba Port, Jiantiao, Shepan, and Hairun will have 6-8 level winds, while other towns (streets) will have 5-7 level winds. Please strengthen prevention measures for coastal tourism, pay attention to wind conditions for ships and facilities at sea, and choose safe water areas for shelter if necessary. Strengthen wind protection measures for facilities such as agriculture and temporary structures.
