On August 2, 2026 at 9:30 am, the Natural Resources Bureau and the Meteorological Bureau of Tonghua City jointly issued a yellow warning for geological hazards and meteorological risks [Level III/Severe]. From day to night today, Dongchang District (Jiangdong Township, Jinchang Town), Erdaojiang District (Tiechang Town, Yayuan Town, Erdaojiang Township), Ji an City (Toudao Town, Qinghe Town, Qingshi Town, Taiwang Town), and Tonghua County (Donglai Township, Shihu Town, Guosong Town) are at high risk of geological disasters (yellow warning). All units are requested to take preventive measures.
