    ...The Flood Warning is extended for the following rivers in Washington...

    Snoqualmie River Near Carnation affecting King County.

    .Heavy rain in the Central Cascades combined with high snow levels will push the Snoqualmie River at Carnation above flood stage today.

    * WHAT...Moderate flooding is forecast.

    * WHERE...Snoqualmie River near Carnation.

    * WHEN...From this morning until further notice.

    * IMPACTS...At 56.0 feet, the Snoqualmie River will cause widespread flooding from Fall City downstream through Carnation and Duvall... inundating much of the farm land and numerous roads.

    * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 5:15 AM PDT Wednesday the stage was 52.8 feet. - Flood stage is 54.0 feet. - Forecast...The river will reach flood stage around 11 AM this morning. The river will crest near 57.6 feet late tonight or early Thursday morning. The river will remain above flood stage into the weekend. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood

    * WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues to be possible.

    * WHERE...Portions of northwest and west central Washington, including the following counties, in northwest Washington, Skagit and Whatcom. In west central Washington, King and Snohomish.

    * WHEN...From 1 PM PDT this afternoon through Friday afternoon.

    * IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.

    * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - High snow levels, heavy rainfall, and snowmelt runoff will lead to rises on area rivers with flooding possible. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood

    The following message is transmitted at the request of the Northwest Avalanche Center.

    ...The Northwest Avalanche Center in Seattle has issued an Avalanche Warning...

    * WHAT...High avalanche danger is expected in the West Central zone Tuesday night and Wednesday.

    * WHERE...The West Central Zone is along the West Slopes of the Cascades from SR20 to north of I-90. It includes the Mountain Loop Highway and the mountains near and south of Hwy 2 along the West Slopes of the Cascades. Dangerous avalanche conditions are expected in neighboring zones.

    * WHEN...In effect from Tue 18:30 PDT to Wed 18:30 PDT.

    * IMPACTS...Large to very large natural wet snow avalanches are expected. Avalanches that release from higher elevations could run long distances to lower elevations or into terrain that is usually considered safe.

    * PRECAUTIONARY / PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...Very dangerous avalanche conditions are expected. Travel in backcountry terrain is not recommended. Put a large buffer between you and terrain where avalanches can start, run, and stop.
