Illinois River at Henry affecting Putnam and Marshall Counties. .The Illinois River continues to rise in response to recent heavy rain. Flooding is expected to develop early in the new week. The following forecasts are based on observed precipitation, soil moisture conditions, and forecast precipitation. * WHAT...Minor flooding is forecast. * WHERE...Illinois River at Henry. * WHEN...From Tuesday afternoon to Saturday, April 11. * IMPACTS...At 23.0 feet, Water begins to affect the marina in Henry along with minor flooding of land adjacent to the river. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 8:45 PM CDT Saturday the stage was 19.6 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage Tuesday afternoon to a crest of 23.3 feet early Wednesday morning. It will then fall below flood stage Friday evening. - Flood stage is 23.0 feet.

High water levels begin to impact shipping interests along the river. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 8:45 PM CDT Saturday the stage was 22.3 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 23.9 feet Sunday evening.
