Creeks and streams on and downstream of burn scars may rise out of their banks. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - Higher moisture behind a backdoor front will result in a greater coverage of showers and thunderstorms across the Sacramento and Capitan Mountains midday Saturday. Storms will be capable of producing locally heavy rainfall with rainfall rates in excess of 2 inches an hour resulting in a greater potential for flash flooding on and downstream of area burn scars.
