Flooding may occur in poor drainage and urban areas. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - One to as much as five inches of rain has fallen across the watch area. Additional rainfall amounts of 0.5 to 2 inches are possible in the warned area as heavier showers and thunderstorms move in from the west. Flash flooding is already occurring. HAZARD...Life threatening flash flooding. Thunderstorms producing flash flooding. SOURCE...Emergency management reported. IMPACT...Life threatening flash flooding of creeks and streams, urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses. Some locations that will experience flash flooding include... Huntington, Bluffton, Decatur, Berne, Ossian, Geneva, Andrews, Markle, Monroe, Lancaster, Preble, Nottingham, Zanesville, Willshire, Uniondale, Wren, Poneto, Vera Cruz, Murray and North Oaks.

For the Wabash River...including Linn Grove, Bluffton IN, Wabash, Logansport...Moderate flooding is forecast. * WHAT...Moderate flooding is occurring and moderate flooding is forecast. * WHERE...Wabash River near Bluffton IN. * WHEN...Until Tuesday morning. * IMPACTS...At 16.0 feet, The outlying portion of West Washington Street becomes impassible and SR 116 west of Bluffton begins to flood. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 9:45 AM EDT Thursday the stage was 14.2 feet. - Bankfull stage is 8.0 feet. - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours ending at 9:45 AM EDT Thursday was 14.2 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 15.6 feet just after midnight tonight.
