At 14:37 on July 31, 2026, Chengde Meteorological Station will continue to issue the yellow warning signal of rainstorm: it is expected that there will be strong thunderstorm weather in our city from this afternoon to the day of August 1, with the rainfall of 30~50 mm in most areas in one hour and more than 50 mm locally. The accumulated rainfall in 6 hours can reach 50-70 millimeters, with some areas exceeding 70 millimeters. Thunderstorms are locally accompanied by strong convective weather such as short-term strong winds. Please take precautions.

1. The government and relevant departments shall do a good job in preventing rainstorm according to their responsibilities; 2. The traffic management department should take traffic control measures on heavily rainy roads according to the road conditions, and implement traffic guidance on flooded roads; 3. Cut off dangerous outdoor power sources in low-lying areas, suspend outdoor operations in open spaces, and transfer personnel and residents of dangerous buildings to safe places for shelter from rain; 4. Check the drainage systems of cities, farmland, and fish ponds, and take necessary drainage measures; 5. Strengthen monitoring, inspection, risk mitigation, and reinforcement work in areas prone to geological disasters caused by flash floods.
