    The National Weather Service in Sterling, Virginia has activated the SKYWARN amateur radio network for Tornado Watch number 67. Severe thunderstorms will be capable of producing tornadoes, damaging wind gusts,and hail. Weather spotters are encouraged to relay any severe storm impacts to the National Weather Service in Sterling, Virginia.

A sudden onset of strong winds are expected behind the cold front this evening. * IMPACTS...Gusty winds will blow around unsecured objects. Tree limbs could be blown down and a few power outages may result.

    * WHAT...Up to one and a half feet of inundation above ground level in low lying areas due to tidal flooding. * WHERE...Shoreline in Anne Arundel County. * WHEN...Until 11 PM EDT this evening, especially around the time of high tide. * IMPACTS...At 3.0 feet, Compromise Street begins to flood in Annapolis. Flooding of much of the City Dock parking lot is occurring. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Tides two to two and a half feet above normal. The next high tide at Annapolis U.S. Naval Academy is at 4:30 PM and 4:33 AM.
