At 11:04 am on July 31, 2026, the Altay Meteorological Observatory issued a yellow warning signal for lightning: it is expected that from noon to night on July 31, there will be lightning activity along Qibeiling, Sentas, Xiaodonggou, Raste Township, urban area, Handegate Township, Aweitan Town, Hongdun Town, Ahe Highway and mountainous areas in Altay City. There may be short-term heavy rainfall, hail, gusty winds and other strong convective weather in some areas. Please pay attention to strengthening prevention.
