Winter storm to kick off the week What : - Total snowfall amount of 20 to 40 centimetres expected - Near-zero visibilities in heavy snow and blowing snow - 5 to 10 millimetres of freezing rain in Abitibi-Témiscamingue When: until Tuesday morning Additional information: The precipitation will gradually change to ice pellets and then to freezing rain this morning. This afternoon and evening, a brief period of rain is expected before a return to snow, reducing the remaining accumulations on the ground. ### Roads and walkways will likely be very difficult to navigate. Visibility will likely be suddenly reduced to near zero at times. Road closures are possible. Please continue to monitor alerts and forecasts issued by Environment Canada.
