Winter storm early this week What: - 15 to 30 centimetres of snow expected - near-zero visibilities at times in heavy snow and blowing snow - period of freezing rain leaving up to 2 millimetres of ice accretion When: from this afternoon to Monday morning Additional information: Precipitation will begin as snow, then gradually change over to ice pellets, and then to freezing rain in the late overnight hours. On Monday morning, temperatures will rise above the freezing mark and precipitation will change over to rain, reducing the remaining accumulations on the ground. ### Travel will likely be challenging.
