* WHAT...Blizzard conditions. Additional snow accumulations between 2 and 3 feet. Winds gusting as high as 65 mph, strongest near the Great Lakes shorelines. * WHERE...Alger, Delta, Luce, Northern Schoolcraft, and Southern Schoolcraft Counties. * WHEN...Until 8 AM EDT Tuesday. * IMPACTS...Travel will be treacherous and potentially life-threatening. Widespread blowing snow and heavy snowfall rates will significantly reduce visibility. Strong winds could cause tree damage and result in power outages. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Heavy snowfall rates of 1 to 3 inches per hour are expected into this evening as well as Monday morning. Strongest winds are expected tonight into Monday.

* WHAT...Significant lakeshore flooding expected with wave heights of 20 to 30 feet possible. * WHERE...Alger County. * WHEN...From 8 PM this evening to 8 AM EDT Tuesday. * IMPACTS...Numerous roads closed and low lying property including parking lots, lawns, and homes and businesses will be inundated near the lake. Some shoreline erosion will occur.
