    Major winter storm continues. What: Total snowfall and ice pellet accumulations of 10 to 20 cm, except 20 to 40 cm for areas north of Highway 17. Near zero visibility in heavy snow and blowing snow. Freezing rain with ice build-up of 6 to 12 mm. Northeasterly wind gusts of 70 to 80 km/h. When: Continuing through Monday night. Additional information: Rapidly accumulating snowfall will transition to ice pellets and freezing rain tonight. As temperatures rise above the freezing mark for some areas tonight into early Monday morning, precipitation may change over to rain. For areas expected to see significant rainfall, a Rainfall Warning is currently in effect. As colder air arrives in the wake of the system, all precipitation will become snow by late Monday afternoon. ### Travel will likely be hazardous. Visibility will likely be suddenly reduced to near zero at times. Road closures are possible. Prolonged utility outages are likely.     Winter storm to kick off the week What: - 15 to 30 centimetres of snow expected - Near-zero visibilities at times in heavy snow and blowing snow - Period of freezing rain When: this afternoon into Monday morning Additional information: Precipitation will begin as snow, then gradually change over to ice pellets, and then to freezing rain in the late overnight hours. On Monday morning, temperatures will rise above the freezing mark and precipitation will change over to rain, reducing remaining accumulations on the ground. ### Travel will likely be challenging.
