At 18:54 on July 31, 2026, the Wuyi County Meteorological Observatory issued a yellow warning signal for thunderstorms and strong winds: Due to the influence of strong convective cloud clusters, there has been a wind of 21.4 meters per second (level 9) in Xinzhai Houtang, our county. It is expected that there will be thunderstorms and strong winds in Taoxi, Xilian, Baimu, Yuyuan, Tanhong, Wangzhai and other townships (towns, streets) in our county from tonight to night, with some areas reaching 8-10 levels. Please be aware of the adverse effects of thunderstorms and strong winds on transportation, tourism, facility agriculture, construction in progress, and outdoor billboards.
