    Localised flooding of roads, low-lying bridges in predominantly informal/formal settlements, damage to property and infrastructure is possible. Localised disruption to essential services such as electricity and water can occur. Difficult driving conditions, especially on dirt roads as well as localised disruption of traffic flow is likely. Localised mudslides and rockfalls may also occur in susceptible areas.

    • Be cautious on roads, avoid crossing rivers and swollen streams where water is above your ankles. If trapped in a vehicle during a flood, abandon it and climb to higher ground. In buildings, move valuables to a safe place above the expected flood level. Switch off electricity at the supply point to the building. Be especially cautious at night when it's harder to recognize flood dangers. Listen to the radio or TV for warnings and obey the instructions from disaster management officers.

    Damage to formal and informal settlements can be expected. Some transport routes and travel services affected by the wind (trees falling). Longer travel times can be expected. Localised problems for high sided vehicles on prone routes (N1 Highway) is likely. Localised damage to temporary structures.
