    ...BREEZY WESTERLY WINDS AND LOW RELATIVE HUMIDITY CONTINUE TODAY THROUGH THE CASCADE GAPS AND INTO THE COLUMBIA BASIN... .Breezy westerly winds through the Cascade gaps will likely (80% chance) overlap with low relative humidity and generate Red Flag conditions continue this afternoon and evening. * AFFECTED AREA...Fire Weather Zones 701 Eastern Columbia River Gorge of Oregon and 703 Warm Springs Reservation. * TIMING...Until 11 PM PDT this evening. * WINDS...West 10 to 20 mph with gusts up to 30 mph. * RELATIVE HUMIDITY...As low as 15 percent. * IMPACTS...Any fire that develops will catch and spread quickly. Outdoor burning is not recommended.

    The Oregon Department of Environmental Quality, and the Lane Regional Air Protection Agency has continued an Air Quality Advisory, which is IN EFFECT UNTIL NOON PDT MONDAY. An Air Quality Advisory for Smoke and Ozone remains in effect. Wildfires burning in the region combined with forecasted conditions will cause air quality to reach unhealthy levels due to smoke and ozone at times through 12 PM Monday. Pollutants in smoke can cause burning eyes, runny nose, aggravate heart and lung diseases, and aggravate other serious health problems. Limit outdoor activities and keep children indoors if it is smoky. Please follow medical advice if you have a heart or lung condition.
