Numerous roads remain closed due to flooding. Streams and bayous continue to rise due to excess runoff from earlier rainfall. Expect many areas of slow moving or standing water. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 100 PM CDT, gauge reports runoff and standing water from previous excessive rainfall. Flooding is already occurring in the warned area. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... Keep children away from storm drains, culverts, creeks and streams.
Water levels can rise rapidly and sweep children away.
