NO FURTHER FLOODING EXPECTED ACROSS PARTS OF THE CAPE YORK PENINSULA Rainfall across parts of the Cape York Peninsula have eased and no significant rainfall is forecast over the next few days. Flooding and elevated river levels are expected to slowly ease across parts of the Cape York Peninsula. Flood impacts may continue for the next few days, however no further flooding is expected. Catchments across the Flood Watch area remain saturated. Disruption to transport routes is occurring or likely across parts of the Flood Watch area. Check road conditions before travelling, as recent flooding may have caused damage to roads.
