At 4:45 p.m. Eastern Daylight Time Saturday, Environment Canada has issued a tornado warning for Southwestern Ontario. Extra care and attention should be exercised in and around the following localities: Oxford and Brant. Environment Canada meteorologists are tracking a severe thunderstorm that is possibly producing a tornado. Damaging winds, large hail and locally intense rainfall are also possible.

A line of severe thunderstorms was located from near Flamborough to near Port Burwell Provincial Park, moving east at 70 km/h. Hazards: 90 km/h wind gusts Up to nickel sized hail Risk of a tornado ### Local utility outages are likely. Large hail may cause significant damage and injury. There is a risk of injury. Severe thunderstorm warnings are issued when imminent or occurring thunderstorms are expected to produce damaging hail, wind or rain.
