Agricultural flooding will also occur. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 2:30 PM CDT Friday the stage was 26.0 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 28.5 feet just after midnight tonight. It will then fall below flood stage late tomorrow evening. - Flood stage is 23.0 feet.

In southeast Kansas, Allen, Chautauqua, Elk, Greenwood, Labette, Montgomery, Neosho, Wilson and Woodson. * WHEN...From 7 PM CDT this evening through early Saturday morning. * IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations. Creeks and streams may rise out of their banks. Area creeks and streams are running high and could flood with more heavy rain. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - A gradual uptick in isolated to scattered thunderstorms is expected this evening through tonight across the watch area. While not everyone will see a thunderstorm, and widespread heavy rainfall appears unlikely at this time, additional localized pockets of heavy rainfall will only aggravate or re-aggravate ongoing flooding concerns across the region.
