MINOR TO MAJOR FLOOD WARNINGS CURRENT FOR PARTS OF NORTH EAST AND CENTRAL VICTORIAN RIVERS Moderate to heavy rainfall since Sunday has caused river level rises and minor to major flooding across several North East and Central Victorian catchments. Showers are forecast across the flood watch area for the remainder of Tuesday, however significant rainfall totals are not expected and further flooding is not expected.

Minor flooding is no longer occurring at Cora Lynn. The Bunyip River at Cora Lynn is currently at 3.07 m and falling, below the minor flood level. The Bunyip River at Cora Lynn is expected to remain below the minor flood level (3.10 m).

ABNORMALLY HIGH TIDES which may lead to sea water flooding of low-lying coastal areas is possible along parts of the Gippsland coast, including the Gippsland Lakes and Lakes Entrance. Tides are likely to rise above the normal high tide mark during Wednesday evening high tide.
