    • Drink plenty of fluids, stay in an air-conditioned room, stay out of the sun, and check up on relatives and neighbors. Take extra precautions when outside. Wear lightweight and loose fitting clothing. Try to limit strenuous activities to early morning or evening. Take action when you see symptoms of heat exhaustion and heat stroke.

WHERE...Douglas, Jefferson, Denver, western Arapahoe, western Adams, Broomfield, Boulder, Larimer, and Weld Counties WHEN...400 PM Thursday August 06 to 400 PM Friday August 07 IMPACTS...Action Day for Multiple Pollutants is now in effect for the Front Range Urban Corridor. Ozone is expected to be in the Moderate to Unhealthy for Sensitive Groups range on Thursday and Friday. The highest concentrations of ozone are most likely in the southern and western portions of the Denver Metro area. Fine particulate concentrations are expected to be in the Moderate to Unhealthy for Sensitive Groups range on Thursday and Friday.
